The player that caught my eyes when i just started following united back in 1992-93. I saw him doing his dribble past two or three players against Arsenal if im not mistaken and i asked dad, who is he to which dad told me he is Giggs. Never knew his full name until i heard the commentator one day called him Ryan Giggs. Eversince then, i will always look out for him and look forward to see him in every matches. What do i know, I only realized lately that ive been doing that for 15 years or so now!

I fear for the day he would called it quits. Being soooo used to watching him every week for a long time, his sudden disappearance will be a HUGE blow to me. I dont even have to imagine that to know how i would feel, i can actually feel it now everytime when i talk about it. Every new season, as much as i am looking forward to a new adventure, a little part of me will have the thought will this be his last season? I know players come and go, even Sir Alex Ferguson will leave us one day too (that will be a bigger heartbreak thou) but its just hard to take.

Witnessing his development, from being a magnificent winger to a stand in central midfielder as age catches up. 11 Premiership Medals, 2 European Cups and many many more accolades, how can anyone not make him an idol? And all these he achieved while playing for the only one club!And no, no red card as well! I dont care if people called me bias but he dont deserved any criticism no matter how bad he played because as much as i can recall, he did well many more times than he played badly these past years, so that evens it out.

The second runner-up. If Im honest, i love him as much as Giggsy and despite his tackles, i love everything about him. Not only is he a great player on the pitch, in fact no doubt one of the best midfielder England ever produce, and he topped it off with a great character as well. Perhaps not many journalist would agree with that but personally i think, thats how footballers should be. You do your talking on the pitch not anywhere off it, leave that to the manager or even the coach. Whats the use of all these interview anyway when the question that often been asked is How do you feel? What do you think? etc, etc, whoever is going to believe that whatever the players said is genuinely what they think?

I didnt talk much about Scholes but thats only because he didnt talk much as well and i respect him for that because all along I have the thinking that he doesnt like being in the limelight which probably is true. But that doesnt mean he didnt hold a big part in my life supporting united. The best midfielder that ive seen playing for united and still do too. Like Giggsy, i hate to think about the day he decided to hang up his boots. A sure thing a player like him is very hard to replace, his vision, his passes, his crossing and most of all his creativity is second to none and that doesnt include his loyalty yet. If there is anyone that fits the word underated perfectly, it would be him, Paul Scholes. How the hell does he not win any personal award just yet? This is just not fair.

He rocks! Everytime i think of Vidic, its kind of funny and it remind me never to doubt Sir Alex & his gang ability to spot talent. Well its always easier to spot talent but difficult to groom that talent but with Vidic, i dont think the gaffer had a lot of problem. Within his stay in Manchester, he had already surpassed Rio in being the best CD in the premiership and together they make a perfect item. Not only he is rock solid at the back but he can score goals too. A complete package of what we really need and its not easy not to like him. Another priceless asset we have that i hope we dont let go.

Hah! So where do i start?? 25/08/2005 - Manchester United confirm they have made an offer to Everton for striker Wayne Rooney. Pissed off! No way Jose i want a him in the team just no! I dont like the fact that he is a scouser, and his famous tagline "Once a Blue, always a blue" always make me think that he wouldnt want to be with us.

Guess what?? Im sooooo damn wrong of course. And the irony, he happens to be if not the most, one of the dedicated players we have in the team. People always talk of his temper and tantrums but to me thats what make him special. Just as long as it didnt affect us in anyway of course.


Also i like how he go about doing his thing without really that much HU-HA and playing for Manchester United didnt make him big headed in anyway at all. His passion for football and for united can be seen even on the pitch. I really have very high hopes on him and in him i was actually hoping to see another Ryan or Scholes like players, someone who will end his united career here with us but as much faith i have, ive learned not many of today's player can do that so we'll see.

He might not be the best player on the field but no doubt his existence is one that i will appreciate for a long time. People talk about Ryan Giggs, Paul Scholes and and Gary Neville about loyalty and its always easier to brush player like Sheasy but for me, his willingness and his sacrifice into becoming a versatile player for us is enough to see how much loyalty he have for the club.To add to that the amount of criticism he gets is beyond words and its a shame really seeing how we love to have a loyal player in the club but yet when we see one we didnt tend to acknowledge it. Regardless how he perform, he will always be in that soft spot in my heart. It is definitely not easy to perform consistently well for all matches when your playing in different position each game but atleast he tried.

I dont know now if starting this blog is a good idea after all cause frankly, Im starting to get a bit lazy in updating it and trying my best to find time to do it. Initially the plan was for my own purposes, something that I could look back on at the end of the season seeing Im a forgetful person, its best to have a place for me to easily look back at the season but right now Im not sure anymore. Anyway, while Im still at it...here goes what I think of the West Ham match. Bear with me cause it was the first time I tried watching the match at the same time, doing minutes by minutes updates on twitter and be on chatzy all at one go! It was fun thou only because its worth it and United are winning! Oh that said you may follow us on twitter. Come on give me the support & be a follower! ;)

Its not always going to be easy to be playing against West Ham especially at Upton Park. We doesnt always have the best record playing them away so I was a bit careful in expecting a good result. Tbh, never really noticed the thin line up we have at the back so I was kind of taken aback when I get to know Vidic wasnt there to start.

With Rio, Evans, The twin brothers, Oshea all out, the worst thing I thought could happen is Vida joining the casualties list. Hell thats not even the worst thing...in the end, both Neville and Brown joined them too so we currently have almost the whole defensive squad out having only Evra standing.

I laughed so much when Carrick was called in to replace Neville..Yeah that was suppose to be funny really, atleast until the final whistle where it come across to me how serious our situation was to be ending the match with three midfielders at the back. ( Fletcher, Carrick, Evra and Giggs).

Thank God, TK happens to have his best run of form at the moment seriously, something I very much appreciate at this critical period what more, with no VDS around. Atleast I know in TK for now, we have someone who we can put trust in. Imagine if it was a couple of months back where I cant even picked between Foster and TK. That will just add to the worry I already have.

Anyway, judging by this match, not sure if it was us or West Ham that was having problem with the defensive backline. 4 goals to a clean sheet? Who would have thought? If this is problem to us, I wonder what the hammers will be calling theirs as from what I saw, they also have problem in taking their chances so certainly that is a bigger problem than what we are currently facing? Atleast as far a problem we are having, we managed to score 4 goals so all are not that bad......for now atleast.

Lets skip the first half as I dont think there's much to talk about apart from Scholesy goal. As usual this season, I dont think we have the best performance in the first half. We slacken off a bit at the start until entering the 2nd half when who else but the ginger prince to typically score that famous goal of his. What a cracking goal for sure atleast until what comes next.

After the second half, then only we stepped on the pedal. Gibson, I dont think he has his best game but credit to him for that brilliant goal thou. I didnt expect him to score rite then tbh and I admit that goal has taken me by shocked. I remember I cant type for a moment after that goal and speechless, I was totally in awe and it was kind of funny really. He certainly learned from Scholesy on that aspect and lets hope he learned the same in other areas of his game too. When we have someone who is as good as him in scoring that type of goals, you cant help but to hope that he'll learn fast and that he doesnt end up being wasted. It will be such a shame.

Valencia I have to mentioned looks good too and happy for him for his goal but the bigger compliment I have to reserve it for my man Giggsy. Dont you just want to cry to think how close he is to retirement with the form he is having right now? Every season now Ive been living with fear for that particular day to come and not only for him but for Scholesy as well what more with what was being mentioned in the press about Scholes quitting at the end of the season. These are the game that make you think what you do without them both. Its obvious, the two of them is what this match is all about. I bet you missing Ronaldo is nothing compared to missing the both of them...argggg...if only they could play forever..

On the other hand, Rooney, dont care if he is no Messi..I still like him for who he is and what he can give. Never ending being a threat to West Ham and how he deserved that goal too. I am always extra happy whenever he score a goal assisted by Valencia..I was hoping he gets on well with him and built an understanding between them and so far, things are starting to look good.

Overall, not like a win itself is not already nice but a win with that scoreline is just so perfect looking at the problem we have. We cant afford to be dropping points no matter under whatever circumstances so I very much welcomed these kind of win if it could boost the morale of the players. And I thought I just have to give credits to Carrick for his first time playing at CB and didnt really do that badly. Infact it didnt look like it was his first time and of course for sure wont be his last time either looking at how it is currently. As funny as it is, it took him great effort to be there and once again, really appreciate that. Now for Wolfsburg...I dread to think who should start really and it would be interesting to see how sir alex work this one out. Here sending off our lads to Germany...Good lucks guys, be with you at heart lol...

Did I mention yet that Liverpool drew with Blackburn and that Chelsea lost to City?? *giggles* Apart from City winning and Tevez scoring their winning goal, it has been a great weekend, what more us being 2 points away from the top eh?? Im sure we'll be there soon...Its only december remember?? ;)
